A preview reception and private tour for 150 guests and VIP’s to preview the V&A’s prestigious exhibition “The Fabric of India”. The whole event was inspired by the senses. Colour, smell, taste, sound – all inspired by the magic of India. We designed and created, with Pinstripes and Peonies, a beautiful, hand made giant Peacock centrepiece made from purple lilies, fox glove, roses and feathers. This stood in the middle of the event space at 3 metres long and 1 metre tall creating a magical focal point. The surrounding areas of the museum were covered in thousands of tea lights in lanterns creating a carpet of candlelight. Low, Indian inspired furniture with bespoke cushions using Indian fabric was brought in for guests to sit on and a sitar player provided entertainment throughout the evening. Waiting staff were dressed in traditional Indian dress and served fine Indian cuisine.

“Thank you for the amazing efforts last night – all the feedback overnight has been overwhelmingly positive from staff and clients”
