De Beers

For this event, to celebrate a collection of photographs by Mary McCartney for De Beers, we produced an exhibition and dinner for 150 guests. The exhibition was held at the Royal Academy of Arts with the main focus on the photographs and ‘light’ – the images were made to look as if they were glowing. Diamonds ‘floated’ in the centre of the space over a bed of white hydrangeas. The meadow inspired main dining room was adorned with wild meadow flowers suspended over each table. A lightbox, made from voile with printed meadow silhouettes, encased the dinner guests to give the feel of a stunning meadow at sunset. The menu was designed by Michelin starred chef, Skye Gyngell. After the success of this prestigious event, Polar black were chosen to produce the following event of its series in 2015.

“Such a beautiful event, you delivered exactly what you said you would. The space looked just like your renders, but even more magical”.
