Veuve Clicquot Polo

Design, produce and manage the VIP area for Veuve Clicquot, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their sponsorship at Cowdray Park Polo Club.

The design replicated a beautiful stately home garden with tongue-in-cheek ‘twists’. A canopy of yellow roses covered the entire ceiling above guests. Miniature figurines in playful scenes were hidden within floral centrepieces. Guest placements were held within mini Veuve Clicquot ‘chairs’ made from champagne tops and other quirky items were placed throughout the space, such as a Veuve Clicquot football table for guests to play with. The area held 220 guests including Alexa Chung, Tinie Tempah, European Royals and Socialites. The step and repeat was designed to look like a horse stable where VIPs playfully posed for paparazzi, holding onto the yellow horse heads. We created the hashtag #20yearsofhorseplay, which successfully maximised further social media opportunities.
